Richmond Photography bio picture

Greetings!

Welcome to my virtual workplace!

My name is Gav, I am 30 years old and I love to shoot weddings. I
shot my first wedding in 2006 and have been hooked ever since. I love
my job, I love photography and I love what it means to my clients to
deliver the goods time and time again.

I won't deny it, it can be very hard work but every wedding I
attend, something amazing happens to make it all worth while. I am a
positive person and like to be around 'happy people'. This job allows
me to mix business with pleasure everyday of the week.

I am married to my beautiful wife who's life I have shared with
since the age of 16. Last year we were blessed with the birth of my son
Joshua who complete's my life entirely. He is my world and makes being
a father the greatest gift anyone can recieve.

Thanks for stopping by and if you feel like catching up on my latest
and greatest you can follow me on Twitter or contact me using the
'contact' page on my site.

Best wishes

Gav

Ian+Zoe | Cheshire Wedding

I made the trip to Cheshire for Ian & Zoe’s wedding. The weather on my way there was pretty much hard rain all the way down. Luckily as the preperations went on, the Sun made an appearance for the rest of the day, allowing Ian, Zoe and their guests to enjoy an outdoor ceremony. The...

Mark+Natalie | Mitton Hall Wedding

I kicked off my Summer with Mark & Natalie’s gorgeous wedding at Mitton Hall in Clitheroe. My first wedding of the season and probably the first day of Summer, especially for us in the North.
As temperatures rose, so did my expectations of a cracking day. Stunning venue and stunning Bride made for an easy target...

Andrea+Craig | Bellagio Town Hall Wedding + Villa del Balbianello, Lake Como – Italy

Words cannot describe the beauty of Lake Como, especially when viewing it from a small Taxi boat cruising around the lake with the sun on your back. Andrea & Craig’s wedding was my first destination wedding and I find myself humbled in their decision to choose me as the official photographer. From the getting ready...

Deana+Will | St Mary’s Church + Scaitcliffe Hall Wedding

Firstly, apologies for the delay in updating this blog post. I have been up to my eyes in images from various weddings at home and abroad.
Deana & Will were married on the 5th September at St Mary’s Church in Rawtenstall, Lancashire. The weather unfortunately started out a little miserable but luckily, later in the...

Ed+Winnie | Our Lady & St Patricks + Preston Marriott Hotel Wedding

Thank Bhudda for Karma, that’s all I can say. I turned up at the Preston Marriott for Ed & Winnie’s wedding but needed a canoe to get from the car park to the entrance, it rained that hard. Alas it wasnt long until Winnie’s prayers were answered and out popped the current bun. The weather...

Ed + Winnie | Pre-Wedding GTG

Today I met with Ed & Winnie, my Bride and Groom from Hong Kong. They booked me to shoot their wedding earlier this year but seeing as Hong Kong is hardly the next town away, this is the first chance we have had to meet in person before the big day. Ed & Winnie are...

Investing in Wedding Photography

It’s not intentional on the part of the happy couple. The truth is photography, in general, can be a peculiar business. Cameras are everywhere these days, in pockets and purses, and even on mobile phones. Digital photography makes documentation of life an instant success, it might seem. But what sort of documentation? What sort of...
