Ian+Zoe | Cheshire Wedding

I made the trip to Cheshire for Ian & Zoe’s wedding. The weather on my way there was pretty much hard rain all the way down. Luckily as the preperations went on, the Sun made an appearance for the rest of the day, allowing Ian, Zoe and their guests to enjoy an outdoor ceremony. The venue itself had very few ideal places for portraits but seeing as the sun was out I thought I would capitalise on it and use it to my advantage.

The emotions during the speeches filled the room as you will see from the images below. I would like to thank Ian & Zoe for commissioning me as their official photographer and wish them both all the best for the future.

Mark+Natalie | Mitton Hall Wedding

I kicked off my Summer with Mark & Natalie’s gorgeous wedding at Mitton Hall in Clitheroe. My first wedding of the season and probably the first day of Summer, especially for us in the North.

As temperatures rose, so did my expectations of a cracking day. Stunning venue and stunning Bride made for an easy target when it came down to the photography. Families gathered from as far as America to help make Mark & Natalie’s day a day they would surely remember with fondness and happy memories.

Thank you again for choosing me to document your wedding day and I wish you both the very best for the future.

Andrea+Craig | Bellagio Town Hall Wedding + Villa del Balbianello, Lake Como – Italy

Words cannot describe the beauty of Lake Como, especially when viewing it from a small Taxi boat cruising around the lake with the sun on your back. Andrea & Craig’s wedding was my first destination wedding and I find myself humbled in their decision to choose me as the official photographer. From the getting ready shots at the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni to the Lake trip at the amazing Villa del Balbianello, the whole day was one of those ‘pinch me’ moments for everyone involved. Andrea, Craig and their family and friends spent half an hour enjoying the views at Villa del Balbianello before heading back to Bellagio for light refreshments at the Villa Serbelloni boat house. Once the sun had set the wedding party moved inside to enjoy a luxurious meal.

Weddings like these don’t come along very often so I made the most of it and took many many photographs. Here is a sneak peek at a selection.

I would like to wish Andrea & Craig all the very best for the future and thanks again for choosing me as your photographer. It was an absolute pleasure.

Deana+Will | St Mary’s Church + Scaitcliffe Hall Wedding

Firstly, apologies for the delay in updating this blog post. I have been up to my eyes in images from various weddings at home and abroad.

Deana & Will were married on the 5th September at St Mary’s Church in Rawtenstall, Lancashire. The weather unfortunately started out a little miserable but luckily, later in the day the skies cleared long enough to give us some well earned portrait time.

I must admit I was pretty much blown away with Deana’s choice of dress. It had such an amazing regal quality and suited her perfectly. Will was as expected, laid back, easy going and pleasure to work with. Scaitcliffe Hall was their choice of venue and what a venue….superb! I hope you guys had a great time on your Honeymoon and I wish you both all the very best for the future.

Ed+Winnie | Our Lady & St Patricks + Preston Marriott Hotel Wedding

Thank Bhudda for Karma, that’s all I can say. I turned up at the Preston Marriott for Ed & Winnie’s wedding but needed a canoe to get from the car park to the entrance, it rained that hard. Alas it wasnt long until Winnie’s prayers were answered and out popped the current bun. The weather was on and off all day but one thing is for sure, the weather was the furthest thing from Ed & Winnie’s thoughts. No two people could have been more relaxed and chilled out on their wedding day as these two were. After a tight schedule in the morning the rest of the day went by with ease, the guests were great and the Bride & Groom were nothing short of amazing.

I enjoyed the day and came away with many great shots. Ed & Winnie were a pleasure to work with and you could not meet a nicer couple. Best wishes for the future and I hope you have a safe trip back to Hong Kong for the penultimate part of your wedding.

Eliza+Matthew | Allerton Castle Wedding

This weekend saw me second shooting with a friend and fellow photographer David Pearce from Open Leaf Weddings at the amazing Allerton Castle near Harrogate, North Yorkshire. David is from Kent and took the trip up north to cover the event for his long term friend Eliza. The venue is stunning and the Bride..just as much!

Big thanks to David for letting me tag along as I thoroughly enjoyed the day and hopefully captured the splender of such a wedding. Below are a few tasters of my time at Allerton Castle.

Ric+Katy | Coniston Hall Wedding

Ric is an old work collegue of mine and asked me if I was available to shoot his wedding at Coniston Hall, Skipton in North Yorkshire. Kate had her fingers crossed in the hope of a white wedding and it seems somebody out there was listening to deliver the goods. The snow covered landscape was almost untouched and with the low winter sun beaming down on us, I knew it was going to be special.

Coniston Hall is one of the nicest venue’s I have worked at and would recommend it to anyone who wants a small private civil ceremony. Hopefully my images will do it justice.

One last note, is to wish Ric & Katy all the very best for the future.
